<h2>Palazzu Stidda ( Palazzo stella in sicilian speaking) belonged to the Baron Stella, this is what the elders in the vicinity told the present owner, an artist sculptor, who restructured it entirely in 2003.
The Palazzo is situated in the historical centre of the city of Catane, between Castel Ursino and the oldest market of the town: the Pescheria.With his experience in applied arts, the owner knew how to restore a novel splendour and contemporary comfort; thus the three flats offer their nomad occupants the possibility to immerse in a place and an authentic city. Close to all the town's attractions such as : monuments, museums, night life and only 15 minutes by car or bus from the beach.
Palazzu Stidda has 3 flats which are all equipped with very silent and discrete fans for the hot summer days, and with radiators for the winter, TV, MP3 reader and Wifi connection.
The flat 1 is a two-room flat situated on the first floor of the Palazzo Stella.
The bedroom with a queensize bed is embellished with a balcony overlooking via Auteri. The living room, giving way to the bathroom with showers and toilet, comprises a one person bed settee, and a small fridge and electric kettle are there for a cozy breakfast.

Flat 2 and 3 are composed with a bedroom and a living room as well as a bathroom and a kitchen, both separated. The bedroom with a queensize bed. The bathroom equipped with a bathtub, comprises also toilet and washing machine.

<strong> The estate is located approximately 60km west of Messina on the Tyrrhenian Sea, in that part of the Gulf of Patti enclosed within Cape of Orlando and Cape Calavà. Set amidst renowned scenic country, it makes a superb base for exploring all our beautiful Island has to offer. It faces the Aeolian Islands; Vulcano is only 11 miles away and, easily reachable by means of small speedboats. Our seawater is warm and clean; the shore is sandy with gently rising water. Peculiar to this area of the Sicilian coast is the sequence of rocky capes embedded into beautiful sandy shores, all sloping down into blue, crystal clear waters. Rising steeply at the back of the coast are the Nebrodi Mountains (Nebrodi Natural Park) which are the main reason why this province is so green and cool; not only they offer great protection against the African all-oppressive hot winds coming from the South, but, also, the great quantity of water sources existing allow vegetation to grow thickly. All this improves dramatically the micro climate of the area. Olive-trees and, other typical Mediterranean plants offer rich and striking view, extending from the salty fragrance of the seashore, right up to the pastures of Mount Etna. Historically, in this area there are some of the most ancient Greek and Roman Sicilian sites such as the Greek Theatre in Tyndaris or the Roman Villa in Patti (with mosaic floors no less important than the ones in Piazza Armerina). There are also two beautiful Norman Castles, in Milazzo and in Montalbano Elicona, belonging to Frederic the Second and quite a number of Saracen Towers along the coast. Do keep in mind that lots of different cultures passed through this land, as conquerors : Arabs, Byzantines, Normans, Spanish and French. The Villa is at only 1 km from the exit of a Messina-Palermo motor-way, at 60 km from Messina and 100 km from Palermo. From the Villa is easy to arrive at Taormina, Cefalù, Etna, Nebrody Park, Milazzo, etc.
On the ground-floor of the Villa there are a big living-room with a chimney corner, a TV, sofas, a divan-bed for two; a dining-room; a kitchen with table, four gas-stoves, a dish-washer, a laundry, the kitchen kit is for twelve person; on this floor there is a bedroom with bath. This floor has air-conditioned.
On the first-floor there are a little study with writing-desk, bookcase and a divan-bed for one; four double bedrooms (one of this has also a single bed); there are two bathrooms. The bedrooms have balconies or terrace and they are furnished very comfortable.
The garden is furnished with deck-chairs, and it is also enclosed with a wall and a gate, with parking for three auto, there is a box shower. Guests can use three bike.
The linen change is bi-weekly and the room-cleaning is bi-weekly but it has a cost.

<h2>San Marco Holiday Home offers the possibility of spending holidays in the beautiful western Sicily, staying in apartments and rooms in the historic center of Valderice.
Located in the oldest quarter of the small town (San Marco), a short walk from the main roads, our apartments and rooms are named after flowers: Margherita, Primula, Gelsomino, Geranio e Orchidea; they are very large, coloured, with solid wood furniture and provided with every comfort. Each one is consisting of a double bedroom, a bathroom with shower, and a large living room fitted with a supplied kitchenette, a table with chairs and a double sofa-bed. Fittings include also a TV, a fridge, conditioned air and WI-FI connection in the whole building. On demand we give free cradle, hairdryer and iron.
At our guests’ disposal there are assistance on the spot, communal laundry, public car park nearby and a large relax courtyard. On demand we give advices on excursions, restaurants where to taste local typical products, bicycle, scooter, motorbike, car and rubber dinghy rental and transfer service from and to Trapani and Palermo airports.
It is possible to park the car near San Marco, abroad. The area is very quiet.

<strong>Valderice is located in a strategical spot, between Trapani town and Mount Erice, at 5 km from sea. In the sorroundings there are famous tourist sites:
• Erice, a little medieval town located at 700 meters above sea level (10 minutes)
• Trapani and the saline (10 minutes)
• S. Vito Lo Capo, with his beaches that are among the best in Italy (30 minutes)
• La Riserva dello Zingaro and Scopello (30 minutes)
• Custonaci (15 minutes)
• Favignana and the Isole Egadi (30 minutes from Trapani)
• Mozia, the Stagnone di Marsala and Marsala (30 minutes )
• Segesta, with his Greek temples and with his theatrical performances in the summertime (30 minutes)
